Scientech, LLC and Insert Key Solutions, Inc. (IKS) have established a teaming agreement to provide the utility industry with a comprehensive equipment reliability solution suite of products and services. IKS’ suite of equipment reliability applications, which have been recognized as among the best in the nuclear industry, will add additional capabilities to Scientech’s set of equipment condition monitoring products. The combination of the companies’ industry leading applications form a suite of solution tools to more effectively address nuclear and fossil utilities’ advanced condition monitoring and equipment reliability efforts. “Together, with our complementary set of applications, our two companies can better meet the needs of clients who are struggling to implement an equipment reliability effort and address the AP-913 Guideline,” says Larry Brodsky, President and CEO of Scientech.

Scientech and IKS will integrate their applications so that pertinent data and analytical information will be easily accessible at all levels, from the fleet manager to the cognizant plant and system engineer, and also provide more insight and knowledge regarding the equipment’s overall condition. By integrating all the available equipment information, engineers will be able to understand better their equipment’s overall condition, perform their reviews, and conduct efficient decision assessments in a more effective and timely manner. “In addition to providing a powerful technical solution, both companies are customer focused. Scientech’s ER Solution Suite, which includes the Insert Key applications, will include thermal and condition monitoring, predictive analysis, plant condition status, fleet reporting, reliability information processing, safety risk assessment capabilities, and program support. The partnership is also expected to address developments of additional equipment reliability tools to further enhance the Scientech and IKS offerings.
