The IKS development team has completed the upgrade of PlantIQ® to the IKS v4 platform. PlantIQ® facilitates the implementation of Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs at a single site or across an enterprise. Major improvements include a redesigned user interface, enhanced technology exam and equipment assessment searching, technology specific exam forms, user configurable dashboards / gadgets and improved integration to external sources such as work management and diagnostic data.
PlantIQ® is completely integrated with the IKS Performance Monitoring module allowing users to build monitoring plans and monitor equipment in real-time.
The new user interface provides a fresh look and feel by putting more information at the user’s fingertips and by allowing the user to quickly access supporting data without having to leave the record they are working on. PlantIQ®’s flexible search engine allows the filtering and sorting of information by any field in the database. Technology exam forms can be configured by technology (ex. vibration readings) to capture and trend specific data points.
PlantIQ® brings innovation to the user’s desktop by utilizing the IKS Dashboard and Gadget infrastructure. This allows for the creation of customized views of key data and metrics such as “Site Watch Lists” and “Avoided Costs”. Equipment dashboards are also available to view work history, failure trends, plant process data, and more for a piece of equipment or equipment type.
Web service interfaces have been created to capture and import results from diagnostic tools such as vibration, thermography, oil, motor testing and others. Work management information can be seen in real-time to view the status of work orders addressing equipment problems identified in a technology exam or equipment assessment.
